PACKAGING: MORE THAN A PROTECTION.
L'EMBALLAGE : PLUS QU'UNE PROTECTION.
Author(s) : VILLALVILLA C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
PACKAGING DOES NOT AIM ONLY AT PROTECTING THE PRODUCT: IT CAN BE ALSO A COOKING DISH AND IT MUST MAKE THE FOOD LOOK MORE APPETIZING. THE RANGE OF PACKAGINGS, WHICH IS STILL INCREASING, IS REVIEWED: CARDBOARD PAPER ALONE OR ASSOCIATED WITH OTHER MATERIALS, BOILING BAGS, PAPER BAGS, ALUMINIUM DISHES, CARDBOARD DISHES, DISHES MADE FROM DIFFERENT MATERIALS (CARDBOARD, GAS-TIGHT BARRIERS, PLASTIC FILMS, POLYESTER, ETC). THE ALUMINIUM DISH CAN NOW BE CLOSED WITH TRANSPARENT THERMOWELDING COVERS. IF CAREFULLY HANDLED, THE ALUMINIUM DISH CAN BE PUT IN A MICROWAVE OVEN. FINALLY, A REMINDER OF THE EXISTING AND EXPECTED REGULATIONS IS MADE. J.L.
