Summary

The frozen Schöeneman raspberry is a highly valued fruit for the retail market, because it offers a very good appearance when thawed. Some difficulties arise though during its individual freezing, storage and refrigerated transport. These difficulties are analysed, together with their relationship to product quality. The design of thermal autonomous small containers for transportation of limited amounts of individually frozen raspberries is described as well.
