Summary

THE APPLICATION OF THE CRYOPAL PROCESS OF MESSER GRIESHEIM GMBH TO BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE LIQUORS IS REPORTED. THE LIQUOR IS CONVERTED INTO DROPLETS BY A SPECIAL DEVICE AND FROZEN BY DIPPING INTO LIQUID NITROGEN. THE PELLETS ARE SUCCESSIVELY CRYODRIED AND CONDITIONED IN PLASTIC BAGS. BACTERIAL AND CELL PREPARATES AND BLOOD PLASMA CAN BE PRESERVED WITHOUT LOSS OF ACTIVITY OR BIOCHEMICAL CHANGES. A. P.
