Summary
The authors present an analysis of the thermodynamic properties and refrigerating performance for the alternative R32-R134a mixture in water-to-water heat pumps. They also investigated a dynamic model and flammability during the leakage test process. The results show that this mixture is a good alternative for water-to-water heat pumps, but the possibility of burning and explosive accidents with leakage cannot be excluded.
