PERFORMANCE OF VAPOUR COMPRESSION HEAT PUMP SYSTEM USING A NONAZEOTROPIC REFRIGERANT MIXTURE.

Author(s) : GOTO M., INOUE N., NAKAMURA J.

Summary

AN EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF THE PERFORMANCE OF A VAPOUR COMPRESSION HEAT PUMP SYSTEM USING THE PURE REFRIGERANTS R12, R22 AND R114 AND THEIR BINARY MIXTURES WAS CARRIED OUT. HEAT TRANSFER CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CONDENSER AND EVAPORATOR WERE ALSO INVESTIGATED. THE COPS OF R12-R114 MIXTURES ARE A LITTLE HIGHER THAN THOSE OF PURE R12 IN THE R114 MASS FRACTION RANGE 0.15 TO 0.5. OVERALL HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENTS OF REFRIGERANT MIXTURES DECREASE WITH INCREASING R114 MASS FRACTION OF THE MIXTURES.
