Summary

On demand of "Gazprom Trans Gaz" the daughter company of Public Corporation "Gazprom" the natural gas liquefier OPG-3-3-0,6 with capacity 3 tons per hourwas manufactured and itis running now as the part of liquefied natural gas manufacturing complex on Gas distribution station # 4 in Ekaterinburg. The liquefier is equipped with reliable monitoring and control system for automatic start-up, control in operation mode and automatic stop of the system in emergency situations. Through the pressure difference in main and municipal pipelines 10-15% of gas is liquefied and the rest of the expanded gas goes to the users. The main element of the liquefier is a cryogenic module for natural gas liquefaction comprising of prior heat exchanger, turbine expander unit, cold box, natural gas cooler and oil cooler. Processed gas is purified to the humidity of the dew point at minus 75°C and the to-be-liquefied part is additionally purified from CO2 to 0.005 vol.%. The adsorbents are regenerated by special heater with 300 kW capacity.
