Summary
Three evaporator tubes with enhanced surfaces, one finned tube and one smooth tube were tested in pool boiling of R22 and R134a. Temperature differences were measured at two system pressures with 0, 1 and 3% oil at heat fluxes from 0 to 45-60 kilowatt/m2 both at increasing and decreasing heat fluxes. Influence of oil content is studied. Results are given for the different kinds of tubes.
