A TWO-DIMENSIONAL FINITE ELEMENT MODEL WAS DEVELOPED TO MODEL TEMPERATURE CHANGES IN LAMB LOINS. EXPERIMENTSWERE CARRIED OUT TO DETERMINE TWO ESSENTIAL INPUTS TO THE FINITE ELEMENT MODEL, LAMB LOIN GEOMETRY AND SURFACE HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT.
