Summary

THE RELATION BETWEEN JUICE LOSSES DURING THAWING AND SHELF LIFE OF 8 VARIETIES OF STRAWBERRIES FROM THE CRIMEA WERE STUDIED. THE LINEAR CHARACTER OF THIS RELATION WAS DEFINED. A REGRESSION EQUATIONWAS DETERMINED AND A DIAGRAM CONSTRUCTED TO DETERMINE THE EFFECTIVENESS OF FREEZING OF STRAWBERRIES AS A FUNCTION OF DRIP AFTER FREEZING, AND AS A FUNCTION OF THEIR STORAGE PROPERTIES UNDER FROZEN CONDITIONS.
