Summary
Melons were fungicide treated before packaging and storage at 5 deg C in a cold store. 7-week study on changes of weight, acidity, dry matter content, and appearance of 7 melon cultivars. A great difference in storage life according to cultivar was noted. Maturity on harvesting is important to ascertain the storage life in a cold room.
