Summary
The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposes to require warning labels on containers of, and products containing or manufactured with, certain ozone-depleting substances. EPA also proposes to require permanent labels on products containing ozone-depleting substances that can be recovered or recycled. The substances affected include both Class I chemicals (CFCs, halons, carbon tetrachloride, methyl chloroform) and Class II chemicals (HCFCs).
