Summary

The fruit was analyzed during ripening and 7-weeks' storage at 5 deg C and a relative humidity of 90-95%. Variations in weight, colour, pH and pomegranate composition was studied. The results are used to set the harvest period leading to better storage. In some conditions, this fruit can be stored for 45 days with no deterioration in quality.
