Summary
R404A is an environmentally acceptable substitute for R502 in low temperature refrigeration applications. A cubic Redlich-Kwong-Soave type equation of state has been developed and is presented. This equation of state is used to generate thermodynamic tables and charts. The data and correlations are expected to be of use to the industry in the development of R404A as a working fluid for refrigeration.
