Summary

THE SYSTEMS ARE THE TUBULAR SYSTEM AND THE FLAT TRACK SYSTEM. BOTH ARE USED FOR KILLING, CHILLING, TRANSPORT AND FURTHER PROCESSING OF THE MEAT BUT THERE ARE CERTAIN DIFFERENCES FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF FACTORY HYGIENE, TECHNICAL OPERATION AND THE TYPE OF MEAT HOOKS USED. NEW DEVELOPMENTS, PARTICULARLY SLIDING RAILS, HAVE BEEN MADE POSSIBLE BY THE USE OF PLASTICS AND IN SOME CASES THESE CAN ALSO IMPROVE HYGIENE.
