RAISING OF CALCULATION ACCURACY OF QUANTITY OF REMOVED HEAT THROUGH MEAN ENTHALPY TEMPERATURE AND STANDARDIZED REFERENCE DATA.

Summary

THE AUTHORS DESCRIBE ALGORITHMS AND PROGRAMMES FOR CALCULATING THE MEAN ENTHALPY TEMPERATURE, PRIOR TO THERMAL TREATMENT. THEY PRESENT A METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION AT THE END OF THERMAL TREATMENT, THE CORE AND SURFACE TEMPERATURES OF THE PRODUCT GIVEN BY THE MEAN ENTHALPY TEMPERATURE, AND FINALLY THE WEIGHT AND COMPOSITION OF THE PRODUCT. THEY GIVE EXAMPLES WHICH INDICATE THAT THE USE OF THE MEAN ENTHALPY TEMPERATURE IMPROVES ACCURACY IN THE CALCULATION OF EXTRACTED HEAT.
