The USA Clean Air Act requires recovery of all replacements refrigerants including refrigerant blends. There are no specifications that identify requirements for recovery or recycle equipment for these refrigerant blends. This paper addresses potential requirements as they relate to present practices and identifies the technical considerations of recovery and recycle of refrigerant blends.
