Summary
The paper reports on the effect of refrigerating machine oils on thermodynamic properties and performance in the circuits of commercially available HFC blends. Azeotropic, near-azeotropic and zeotropic binary and ternary blends from R32, R143a, R125 and R134a, in combination with an ISO-VG32 polyolester, were considered. Calculations show that oil proportions of 1-2% can influence refrigerating performance, compression enthalpy and COP.
