Summary
A brief overview is given of the situation in Sweden in relation to refrigerant replacement activities. Governmental goals and provisions are described as well as some of the Swedish Environmental Agency actions and proposals for the future. A brief description is given of a program for cooperation in industrial development and research concerning "new" environmentally friendly refrigerants including components and systems. Finally a short overview is given of some industrial development projects and use in practice of "natural refrigerants" in Sweden.
