Summary

The report is a presentation of the refrigerant part of the final report of the national research project dealing with new alternatives of CFCs, HCFCs and HFCs. Finally, HFE-245mc was tested for 7000 hours and over as an active alternative for CFC-114, and HFE-143m is an effective alternative refrigerant in the drop-in test in home refrigerators using HFC-134a. But there is no alternative to R22 except HFCs, and these are fluorine-containing compounds.
