Summary
Improving conductivity of phase change material (PCM) has been the focus of a great deal of research in recent years. In this paper, the recent research on the enhancement of conductivity of PCM is described. The four main enhancement methods are analyzed, including adding metal particles, carbon fibres, expanded graphite, and nanoparticles to PCM, respectively. In addition, the future research on the enhancement of conductivity of PCM, especially with carbon fibres and nanoparticles, is suggested.
