Simulation and optimal control of the refrigeration storage processes for perishable products.

Author(s) : BOSHKOV L. Z., MAZUR V. A.

Summary

The work gives a complete self-consistent model of refrigeration storage of perishable products that can be used for prediction of storage results and optimum control of processes. An approach has been proposed that leads to differential description of the deterioration function, which also includes the natural losses caused by life processes. The identification methods for the model are considered and the storage kinetics calculation results are given. The economic efficiency criterion has been analyzed and presented as a function of storage parameters and labor expense. Examples are given.
