Summary
Some experimental results of the use of the new ammonia based azeotropic refrigerant R723 operated in a small heat pump of 7 kW capacity range are presented. Measurements done on the small heat pump with a reciprocating compressor, give excellent COP values in winter and summer operation conditions.
