Summary

This document provides advice on how to store fruit and vegetables: solutions to scald and water core which appear during storage of apples; in particular, results of studies performed on cloned Boscoop and Braeburn species are provided; concerning pears, this article provides advice on how to store Conference and Nashis varieties. Finally, the authors give a few indications and advice on how to limit ethylene production during storage.
