Summary

Freshly harvested "Kinnow" fruits were subjected to treatments of bavistin, semperfresh and their combinations. These fruits and untreated lot were kept at room temperature (16.75 to 20.61 deg C) and 62-95% relative humidity) and in a big size evaporative cool chamber (14.56 to 18.69 deg C and 84-96% relative humidity). Results indicated that fruits treated with bavistin in combination with semperfresh could be kept up to 40 days in cool chamber as against 15 days at room temperature.
