Summary
Fruits stored in air at 6 deg C were acceptable after 5 months' storage. Fruits stored in air at 8 or 10 deg C had a storage life of 50 days whereas fruits stored at these temperatures under controlled-atmosphere conditions had a storage life of 130 days.
