FRESH FISH CAN BE TRANSPORTED IN 4 INCHES POLYURETHANE FOAM INSULATED CHAMBER ALONG WITH ICE (25% OF THE WEIGHT OF FISH) AT A TEMPERATURE OF 278 K (5 DEG C) WITH THE HELP OF EVAPORATING LIQUID NITROGEN (LN). A 25% INCREASE IN LN CONSUMPTION OVER USUAL REQUIREMENT FOR HEAT LEAKAGE IE 0.004 KG/HR.M2.DEG C OF LIQUID NITROGEN IS EXPECTED IF USED IN THIS OPERATION.
