Summary

This article is the Spanish translation of an article presented at the IIR-Gustav Lorentzen conference on natural working fluids, in Copenhagen, Denmark (see the Bulletin of the IIR, reference 2009-0362). For improving the coefficient of performance of carbon-dioxide water-water heat pump effectively, this paper discusses the design of a flooded type evaporator. Several correlations of pool boiling heat transfer are used to calculate the coefficient of carbon dioxide pool boiling heat transfer. An experiment loop was established. The boiling heat transfer of enhanced tube and the smooth were tested respectively. The calculation results are compared with the test results. A proper correlation is recommended for design according to the experimental results. Effect of oil on the flooded evaporator is discussed. A dry evaporator is suggested to combine with the flooded evaporator for oil separation.
