Summary
During 1997-1998, different methods for keeping fruit fresh were compared on Canarium album fruits. Results showed the best antiseptic agent was 25% Deccozil (imazalil). Using 25% Deccozil at a concentration of 1 ml/l + Baoxuanji at a concentration of 2100 mg/l for washing fruits, followed by drying for 3-5 days, packing in PE film with a thickness of 0.04-0.06 mm and storing at 8-10 °C, enabled fruit to be stored for 3-5 months.
