A pressure precooling device has been established and experimental investigations on the golden-pear precooling process were conducted with different conditions such as airflow rates, vent hole shape and size of carton and array style of fruits and vegetables in carton. The relevant parameters affecting cooling uniformity of Golden pears were analyzed.
