Summary

This report is the result of the work carried out in the IEA Heat Pump Programme's Annex 17 entitled "Experiences with new refrigerants in evaporators". It has been carried out by one Operating Agent (Sweden) and one National Team from each of the five participating countries (Canada, Netherlands, Norway, Switzerland, Sweden). Its objective was to increase the knowledge on data of heat transfer coefficients and pressure drops on the working-fluid side in the evaporator part of a heat pump. Extract of contents: theory; National Team projects and results; evaluation from the operating agents; general evaluations.
