Summary
During the IIR Conference held at Purdue, Indiana, 18 21 July 1988, five sessions concentrated on the CFC issue. Most of the papers presented were published in the International Journal of Refrigeration, July 1988. In the final session a CFC forum was organized, chaired by the authors of this article. The main part of the article deals with the subjects discussed during the CFC forum, with some general remarks and highlights from papers which have not been published in the International Journal of Refrigeration.
