Summary
Fruits were dipped in 0, 0.5, 1 and 1.5% Semperfresh solution (sucrose esters of fatty acids) and stored for 150 days at 0 deg C and 90-95% relative humidity. Semperfresh treatment increased the shelf life of apple fruits by 7-10 days.
