Summary

A DECREASE IN SUPERCOOLING OF WATER AND SOME BIOLOGICAL MEDIA WAS FOUND IN THE LOW INTENSITY ULTRASOUND FIELD. THE DEPENDENCE OF THE NUCLEATION TEMPERATURE ON THE ULTRASOUND INTENSITY WAS OBTAINED FOR 1 CM3 BULK WATER SAMPLES. COMPARATIVE DATA ON THE NUCLEATION TEMPERATURES OF HANK'S, GLYCEROL, PEO (POLYETHYLENE OXIDE)-300 SOLUTIONS AND GELATIN GEL IN THE ULTRASONIC FIELD ARE PRESENTED.
