THIS PERCENTAGE IS AN OVERALL FIGURE, INCLUDING SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCES ACCORDING TO THE PRODUCTS AND THEIR FINAL USE (HOUSEHOLDS, DIFFERENT TYPES OF RESTAURANTS, SMALL PROCESSORS OF THE RETAIL TRADE). THE OVERALL AMOUNT OF PRODUCTS FOR DIRECT CONSUMPTION INCREASED FROM 734,000 T IN 1981 TO 788,000 T IN 1982, IE + 7%. THE UNEVEN ANNUAL INCREASE BETWEEN 1978 AND 1982 IS ALSO EXPLAINED BY STOCK VARIATIONS. NUMEROUS TABLES COMPARE THE TONNAGES OF APPARENT MARKET, NATIONAL PRODUCTION, IMPORTS AND EXPORTS OF FROZEN FOODS IN GENERAL, THEN OF FROZEN VEGETABLES, WHOLE FISH, FISH FILLETS OR BLOCKS, BREADED FISH STICKS OR PORTIONS, POTATO PRODUCTS (WITH A SPECIAL TABLE FOR CHIPS), BAKERY PRODUCTS SINCE 1977. THE APPARENT MARKET FOR ICE CREAM (INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION) WAS 192,184,330 L, IE 10.3% INCREASE COMPARED TO 1982, WITH 3,612,666 L EXPORTS AND 13,934,667 L IMPORTS. G.G.
