Per capita frozen food consumption in Denmark ranks second in the world, just behind that of the US. In 1996 annual Danish frozen food consumption reached a level of 50.3 kg per capita where ice cream consumption is excluded (or 60 kg if ice cream is included). Last year, consumption rose by 0.1 kg per capita in Denmark.
