Author(s) : GLUCKMAN R.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
The author first notes the importance of refrigeration to the human environment, and then deals generally with the CFC phase-out and global warming. He concludes that, although some problems can only be properly dealt with by the development of new chemicals and technologies, others require only the extention of existing technologies into new areas of application, and improved design and maintenance (which can be brough about by better levels of training and awareness).
