BY MEANS OF THE REDLICH-KWONG-SOAVE EQUATION OF STATE THE AUTHORS CALCULATED THE THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF THE NON-AZEOTROPIC MIXTURE R12-R11 (50-50%). THESE PROPERTIES ARE PRESENTED IN AN ENTHALPY CHART. THE MIXTURE COMPOSITION WAS SELECTED IN VIEW TO ITS USE IN WATER-WATER HEAT PUMPS, WITH VERY WIDE VARIATIONS IN THE TEMPERATURE OF HEAT TRANSFER MEDA THE ANALYSIS OF SIMPLE SINGLE-STAGE CYCLES AND WITH R114 SHOWS THAT THE COP OF THE CYCLE WITH MIXTURE IS IMPROVED COMPARED TO THAT OF THE CYCLE WITH A PURE FLUID.
