Author(s) : ALMASI E., BALLA C.

Summary

THE STORAGE CONDITIONS WERE: NORMAL ATMOSPHERE: 3:8 (3% CO2 + 8% O2 ), 8:3, 3:3 AND 8:8, TEMPERATURES: 281-282 K (8-9 DEG C), 85-90% RH, STORAGE LIFE: 34-37 DAYS. AT THE BEGINNING OF STORAGE, RESPIRATION HEAT WAS 250 J/KG.H, CO2 PRODUCTION, 10.8 MILLIL/KG.H AND O2 CONSUMPTION, 10.7 MILLIL/KG. H. AT THE END OF STORAGE, RESPIRATION HEAT WAS 200 J/KG.H IN NORMAL ATMOSPHERE. IN ATMOSPHERES CONTAINING 8% O2, IT WAS 170 J/KG.H AND IN THOSE CONTAINING 3% O2, 100-130 J/KG.H. CO2 PRODUCTION WAS 8.7 MILLIL/KG. H IN NORMAL ATMOSPHERE, 7.6 AND 6.2 MILLIL/KG.H IN ATMOSPHERES WITH 8 AND 3% O2, RESPECTIVELY.
