Summary
The use of carbon dioxide as a refrigerant in car air conditioners was one of the topics of the latest IIR conference in Oslo. Research projects and the experience of the automobile industry were presented. Results are of great interest in so far as they demonstrate the possibility of using this refrigerant in fixed plants too. J.G.
