Theoretical comparison of refrigerant cycle for air conditioning system operating with R22, R134a, blends and relative experimental tests.

Author(s) : GAROFANO A., FABBRETTI V.

Summary

The work aims at building a theoretical model of prediction about performance of refrigerant cycle operating with different fluids: R22, R134a, zeotropic blend (R32-R125-R134a - 23, 25, 52%), 407C. The analysis that has been made provided some information about heat exchangers design criteria and components choice. Theoretical predictions have been compared with experimental results recorded during tests on one small chiller heat pump version.
