THERMAL DESIGN PARAMETERS; I.E., TUBE LENGTH AND STATIC PRESSURE DROP;ARE CALCULATED FOR A WATER COOLED HORIZONTAL TUBE-IN-TUBE CONDENSER BY USING SEVERAL EXISTING EXPRESSIONS FOR PREDICTING CONDENSATION HEAT TRANSFER COEFFICIENT AND FRICTIONAL COMPONENT OF STATIC PRESSURE DROP. COMPARISON OF THE NUMERICAL RESULTS WITH EXPERIMENTAL DATA FOR R11 AND R12 SHOWS THAT THE AUTHORS' EXPRESSIONS PRESENTED IN THE PREVIOUS REPORT ARE APPLICABLE TO A WIDE RANGE OF MASS FLOW RATE, WHILE THE OTHERS ARE APPLICABLE ONLY TO RESPECTIVE LIMITED RANGES.
