Thermal diffusivity measurement of R22 at low pressures using the photoacoustic effect.

Author(s) : STEPHAN K., BIERMANN J.

Summary

The photoacoustic technique is used for thermal diffusivity measurement of gases in the region of low densities. A photoacoustic cell designed for accurate measurements is described and experimental results with R22 are presented. Experimental thermal diffusivities were converted into thermal conductivity data with densities and isochoric specific heats calculated by an equation of state.
