Summary
The paper discusses the influence of the strategy of cooling and freezing on the cost of electrical energy used to drive refrigerating compressor units and auxiliary equipment on the economical results due to the quality deterioration of the product (beef). As a measure of the deterioration the shrinkage costs have been assumed. The results of multi variant numerical calculations heave been presented.
