Author(s) : WATANABE K., SATO H.

Summary

A REVIEW IS PRESENTED OF THE STATE-OF-THE-ART IN THE FIELD OF RESEARCH ON THERMOPHYSICAL PROPERTIES OF SEVERAL CFC SUBSTITUTES WHICH ARE THE MOST PROMISING. AFTER POINTING OUT THE ESSENTIAL IMPORTANCE OF THE DETERMINATION OF THESE PROPERTIES FOR THE FLUIDS USED IN NUMEROUS THERMAL-ENERGY CONVERSION SYSTEMS -INCLUDING HEAT PUMPS -, THE ARTICLE MAINLY DEALS WITH THE MOST SIGNIFICANT RECENT RESULTS CONCERNING CFC SUBSTITUTES SUCH AS R134A, R123, R142B,R141B AS WELL AS THE PROPERTIES OF NON AZEOTROPIC AND/OR < NEAR-AZEOTROPIC > REFRIGERANT MIXTURES.
