Summary

Three patients were transplanted with frozen allogeneic bone marrow cells. Engraftment, GVHD and clinical course were uneventful. Two of them have survived over 3 years and are still alive. By using frozen bone marrow cells in the setting of allogeneic transplantation, the authors could easily decide the day of transplantation and social stress on donor was decreased. This is the first case report of using frozen marrow cells in Japan.
