Author(s) : OCHSNER E.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The following trends are currently evident in Switzerland: domestic equipment with a small refrigerant charge use R600A; industrial units use R717, R407C or R134a; heat pumps for building technology use R407C, R134a and R290; commercial refrigeration applications use R407C and R404A; the use of R410A in compact air conditioning units is becoming more common. Units with capacities up to 500 kilowatts are available in the USA and Japan.
