THE CALCULATION IS A NEW METHOD BASED UPON BOSNJAKOVIC'S UNIFIED CALCULATION PROCESS FOR RECUPERATORS. IN THE EVENT OF COMPLEX TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS, THE HEAT TRANSFER PROBLEM OF A MIXTURE WITH PHASE CHANGE CAN BE TRANSFERRED TO A HEAT TRANSMISSION PROBLEM OF A SINGLE-COMPONENT SUBSTANCE, THUS SIMPLIFYING CALCULATION. THE EFFICIENCY CALCULATED FROM COMPLEX TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS ENABLES THE DIRECT COMPARISON OF VARIOUS HEAT EXCHANGERS.
