Summary
Pear cv. Rocha fruits were harvested on 24 August and placed in controlled atmosphere storage chambers with high CO2 (2%), in polyethylene bags with a window of material differentially permeable to CO2 and O2 or in air. All samples were kept at 0 deg C and 85% relative humidity for 8 months. Ethylene production, sugar content and deteriorations are studied.
