UTILIZATION OF THE EXERGY CONCEPT TO EVALUATE CAPACITY MEASUREMENTS ON REFRIGERATING MACHINES TO BE TESTED AND TO EVALUATE RUNNING CONDITIONS OF MACHINES TO BE SUPERVISED.

Author(s) : NOWOTNY S.

Summary

THE CONCEPT OF EXERGY WAS USED FOR THE DESIGN AND OPTIMIZATION OF REFRIGERATION MACHINES. THE < KAELTEMASCHINENREGELN > HAS ALREADY PROPOSED THE EXERGY CONCEPT FOR TESTS AIMED AT EVALUATING THE CAPACITY OF REFRIGERATION MACHINES. THE RATIO: OBTAINED EXERGY/ENERGY SUPPLY IS CALLED EXERGYEFFICIENCY. A STANDARDIZED REFERENCE CYCLE IS INTRODUCED, AND THE COP IS DETERMINED BY DIVIDING THE COP OF THE REAL CYCLE BY THE COP OF THE REFERENCE ONE. BASED ON THESE PRINCIPLES, A SYSTEM OF PROGRAMMES IS DEVELOPED, WHICH MAKES IT POSSIBLE TO TEST AND TO EVALUATE THE OPERATING CONDITIONS OF REFRIGERATION MACHINES.
