Number: pap. ID: 373

Author(s) : DOBROVICESCU A., STANCIU D., VASILESCU E., et al.

Summary

The paper presents a structural optimization study of CO2 refrigerating cycles based on exergetic analysis. The study of the exergy destructions gives the direction to follow for the improvement of the system efficiency. To reduce the exergy destruction due to the throttling process and heat transfer in the gas cooler the use of an expander, of an internal subcooler and different schematics with two stages compression are considered. The conduct of the system at the variation of the decisional parameters is shown.
